Clean and dry the surface of your wheelchair footplate.

Remove the paper strips from the bottom of your Wheel Comfort Padded Footplate, exposing the hook & loop adhesive.*

Carefully line up with Wheel Comfort Padded Footplate with your existing footplate and press it down against the surface. The edge should hang slightly over your existing footplate.*

Slowly pry away the Wheel Comfort Padded Footplate, exposing the hook & loop strips, which should now be adhered to your existing footplate.

Press down on hook & loop surface for ten seconds to make sure it sticks.

To use your Wheel Comfort Padded Footplate, simply line up the hook & loop strips on the bottom to those on your existing footplate and press to secure. To remove, just pull the Padded Footplate away from your existing footplate.**

*For users without an existing footplate, but rather a series of metal tubes, simply apply the rough part of the hook & loop strips by hand, making sure to align them carefully with the corresponding hook & loop strips on the footplate. ** For wheelchairs with two separate footplates the same instructions should be followed for each footplate.
